The Society of St. Vincent de Paul Northeast Ohio District Council in Trumbull County has more than doubled the number of meals they serve on a daily basis because of COVID. Prior to the pandemic, they were serving about 150 meals a day, now they serve nearly 400 meals a day. That increase has helped fast track their capital campaign to expand their dining hall. They hope to start that project this fall.

The organization is also growing in other ways including their Thrift Store which is in the process of relocating to downtown Warren. This will more than double their retail space from a 5,000 square foot building to one that’s over 11,000 square feet.

St. Vincent de Paul also offers a wide range of other services including mattress and furniture vouchers, housing assistance, mental health and addiction recovery services, and prison reintegration.
