Friends of the Poor Walk

Saturday, September 24, 2022, at Perkins Park in Warren, Ohio

Registration Time: 10:00 am – 10:45 am
Start Time: 11:00 am

The Society of St. Vincent de Paul of Trumbull County is a local non-profit organization dedicated to giving help to those in need in our area since 1930. We are the front line of emergency aid for the community; providing daily home cooked meals to more than 8,700 people monthly facing food insecurity, hundreds of food boxes from our four local food pantries, voucher programs for clothing, furniture, factory-fresh mattresses and many other safety-net services and initiatives to those living in poverty in our area.

The FOP Walk is a national special event that started eleven years ago to raise awareness and funds for the Society of St. Vincent de Paul. This year SVdP Trumbull County will be joining 240 other Friends of the Poor® Walks across the United States in an effort to eradicate poverty. And the best part is that all money raised will stay in Trumbull County!

Will you please consider becoming a sponsor, walker and/or volunteer for our Annual Friends of the Poor® Walk scheduled for Saturday, September 24, 2022, 11 a.m. at Perkins Park in Warren, Ohio.

We would so appreciate your support! We have also included an informational sheet listing St. Vincent de Paul, Trumbull County programs. To ensure you receive proper recognition, please return the enclosed sponsorship form A.S.A.P or register online at SVdPTrumbull.org.

Please contact Shawn Littell, Executive Director, at 234-223-2933 or by email at slittell@svdpneodistrict.org if you have any questions. Thank you!

Sincerely,
Darlene S. Jones
