Among the multitude of struggles brought by situational poverty, food insecurity is one of the most difficult to overcome. That is why St. Vincent de Paul Trumbull is committed to providing our community members in need with access to food services through a number of different outlets.

Sleep Soundly New Bed Program
While most of us take for granted sleeping in a clean, pest-free bed each night, many of our
neighbors do not have that luxury. The SvdP Sleep Soundly Program was created to fill a
significant void in local safety net services. Through this partnership with The Chicago Mattress
Company, we can provide new, clean mattresses, still wrapped in plastic from the factory to
area residents who have lost their beds through infestation, incarceration reintegration, or are
transitioning from emergency or transitional housing.
