Legacy Donations

Our Legacy of Hope Program offers an opportunity for people to have an impact in their communities today and tomorrow by helping St. Vincent de Paul improve the lives of the poor and suffering.

The Legacy Program includes a variety of ways for people to provide immediate and future assistance. Donations we receive are used to promptly help people who are living in crisis with little hope for change. Your legacy gift to St. Vincent de Paul Trumbull County will assist us in meeting the needs for future recipients as well.

Volunteer

Perhaps volunteering as a Vincentian member is more than you can commit to at this time, but you still wish to volunteer or intern with the Society. From delivering meals and food boxes to the poor, picking up donated food items from area vendors, preparing a meal in the local SVdP Dining Hall or helping sort donated items in the Thrift Store Donation Center– St. Vincent de Paul Society has a place for everyone.

Although our volunteers come from all walks of life, they have one thing in common: the desire to improve the lives of others.

Volunteers may serve individually or they can organize a club, a group of friends or coworkers. Opportunities include a one-time volunteer visit, a service project, a drive to collect needed items, or a regularly scheduled volunteer assignment.

Donate Food

Our Dining Hall always needs donated food items that are directly provided to those in greatest need within our community.

During the COVID-19 crisis, we have seen a tremendous increase in the number of clients experiencing food insecurity issues. SVdP is grateful for your help and support in addressing these growing demands during this difficult time.

Donate to the Thrift Store and Donation Center

The St. Vincent de Paul thrift store plays a critical role in fulfilling our mission. Our team provides thousands of local households struggling with poverty. For all of us, having a space to call home is essential to leading a healthy, fulfilling life, but the costs associated with doing so are steep and, for many, insurmountable. The SVdP Thrift Store provides those experiencing poverty with the resources and support systems that they need to have a home of their own.

Our Thrift Store is a friendly place that sells gently-used clothing, accessories, furniture, artwork, books, music, household goods and much more to match any taste at great prices. For those looking to support our operations, shopping at our brand new thrift store will directly fund our mission efforts.

Donate Bikes

Saint Vincent de Paul Trumbull is actively looking for new, gently used and recycled bicycles to be donated! For many in our community, transportation is a luxury – but it does not need to be. If you own bikes that go seasons unused, your children have grown out of or are purchasing a new one and no longer need your older model, please consider donating to our thrift shop. Mobility is opportunity. If you are able, please pass that grace onto someone in our community!

Donate Vehicles

Not only will you clear out your garage or driveway with ease, you will impact the lives of many by simply donating a vehicle you no longer need.

We make donating a vehicle easy every step of the way!
